Shaundell Diaz

Shaundell Diaz is a resilient Latina leader with extensive Lived Experience of Homelessness and a deep commitment to advancing equity, justice, and community-centered systems. She currently serves as the Program Director for the Three County Continuum of Care at Community Action Pioneer Valley, where she leads program development, cross-system collaboration, and capacity-building efforts that strengthen the region’s homelessness response.
Beyond her local leadership, Shaundell is a powerful voice for change at the state and national levels. She co-chairs the Communities That Care Coalition’s Grand Rising Workgroup, co-founded the Hampden County Resource Network, and serves as a consultant with the National Coalition for the Homeless, shaping policies and strategies that uplift the expertise of people most impacted by homelessness.
Shaundell is also engaged in the national “Re-Imagining Interim Housing Framework Project,” where she advocates for innovative, dignity-centered approaches to crisis response. As Vice President for FCRHRA Rural Development Inc., she works to advance organizational equity and ensure programs reach and reflect diverse communities.
Her leadership is grounded in lived experience, cultural humility, and a fierce belief in systems that uplift the people they are designed to serve.
